National and international evidence indicate that our mathematics results are declining. By the time our students reach year eight, many students are turned off maths. In this rapidly developing digital age, maths is more important than ever. Reversing this trend of maths achievement and engagement requires a change in pedagogical approach.
'Leading Maths for Equitable Outcomes' is based on the latest research into effective mathematics teaching. The course provides insights into alternative ways of planning and teaching that hook in learners. Its practical ideas will support Mathematics Lead Teachers and Senior Leaders as they influence and reshape their school's practice.
The course is aimed at Mathematics Lead Teachers and Senior Leaders in primary schools.
