The University of Auckland’s Centre for Educational Leadership (UACEL) coordinates the school immersion component of the Khebrat contract which places groups of education professionals from Saudi Arabia into high performing Auckland schools.

Outcomes

Participants will build theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills through a combination of seminar and school immersion experience.  Participants will grow capability through:

• Immersion in some of Auckland’s top performing schools.
• Providing a contextualised, school immersion experience, within which participants can extend understandings and challenge existing pedagogical thinking.
• Providing a supportive environment within which participants can plan and reflect on their experiences.
